PAINT DANCE     (THREE TIMES)

Plans for a final outcome for the show were to make an interactive piece in a marble run sort of fashion, with a pot of marbles for the audience to pick out and place into the system from several points. At each point the marble would first fall into a well of paint before continuing on its journey, leaving a trail of its path behind. The final piece would come together once every marble had been through the system and out into a collector the other end. The paths would be left and as the marble falls, and the paint dries they would fade a little. A set of ephemeral marks made by ephemeral journeys. Not only will the laws of chance have their say in (originally) my system(for once chance takes part I can no longer be credited), but the audience is given the chance to contribute and bring the work to life.
